Enterprise Structure

Organizational units are legal entities; represent the structure of an enterprise organization. The organizational units that represent SD processes are:
1)      Company code
2)      Sales area - Combination of Sales organization, Distribution channel and Division.
3)      Sales Office
4)      Sales Group
5)      Sales Person
6)      Plant and Storage Location
7)      Shipping point
Organizational units relevant for only sales include:
1)      Sales organization
2)      Distribution channel
3)      Division
4)      Sales Office
5)      Sales Group

Organizational units that represent only sales and distribution include:
1)      Sales Area

2)      Sales organization

3)      Distribution channel

4)      Division or

5)      Shipping point
Other organizational units such as plant, company code or storage location are not only used by sales and distribution but also by other areas.
