Delivery Document Structure

Delivery Type

The delivery document is controlled by the delivery type. The different kind of delivery types defined in the standard system is:

1.      LB: Delivery for subcontract order
2.      LD: Decentralized shipping (used in decentralized shipping in connection with R/2 RV)
3.      LF: Outbound delivery
4.      LO: Delivery without reference (no sales order necessary in order to create a delivery)
5.      LP: Delivery from project
6.      LR: Returns delivery
7.      NL: Replenishment delivery
8.      RL: Returns vendor

Following are some of the important control elements that can be used to configure delivery type to carry out different functions.

1.      Number assignment – Number range, whether the assignment is internal or external?
2.      Reference to order – whether the reference of an order is mandatory or not?
3.      Route determination – whether the route has to be re-determined or not?
4.      Automatic Packing
5.      Delivery split by warehouse number
6.      Shipment or transportation relevance
7.      Partner determination
8.      Text determination
9.      Out-put determination

Delivery Item Categories

Items in delivery document are controlled by the delivery item category in the whole Shipping process. The different control elements are listed here:

1.      Picking relevance
2.      Packing control
3.      Storage location determination
4.      Text determination
5.      Availability check – You can switch of the availability check for the delivery item in the delivery document
6.      Check minimum quantity
7.      Check over delivery
8.      Automatic batch determination
9.     Whether the tranfer order need to be confirmed or not?
